In honour of this year’s Black History Month theme, Reclaiming Narratives, Komedia Brighton is exclusively platforming Black comedians and performers of colour at Komedia Comedy Club, every Friday & Saturday throughout October.
What is comedy if not storytelling? Stories are powerful tools that impact how we see ourselves and the world around us. For too long, Black history has been misrepresented, oversimplified, or entirely overlooked. A line-up of excellent comedians, including Thanyia Moore, Kemah Bob, Kyrah Gray, and Sikisa, is set to take the stage at Komedia Comedy Club to take ownership of their stories and shape how they are told.
