Why Social Work Matters

Social work changes lives. With 700,000 children and families relying on social workers each year, the need for dedicated professionals is greater than ever. The number of children being taken into care is rising, and more families are living in poverty, struggling with basic needs. Mental health issues, addiction, and domestic violence have increased significantly, especially since the pandemic. For children in these situations, the impact can be profound, ranging from hunger and educational challenges to abuse, trauma, and neglect. Without intervention, these experiences can cause long-term harm, affecting their ability to flourish and grow into the best versions of themselves.

These events are designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to start your journey towards a meaningful and impactful career in social work. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain valuable insights into the social work profession.
