A Windrush child, Dr. McClymont will talk about her new historical novel, Little River, and about growing up in the borough of Wandsworth.
WomanzVue is pleased to announce Dr. Velma McClymont’s second stop on her London book tour. Working in partnership with Wandsworth Heritage Festival, this event will be held at Battersea Library where Dr. McClymont was a member during the 1970s. She has fond memories of visiting the children’s section on Saturday mornings.
Structure:
In segment 1, Dr. McClymont will speak about the making of Little River (Volume 1), which focuses on the Scottish plantocracy in Jamaica. In segment 2, there will be a Q & A session. Thereafter, Dr. McClymont will sign copies of her novel.
