Friday 24 September 2021
Join us for Black Educators Book Club 004 – Black educators and trade unions – with Den Henry (National Education Union)
The Black Educators Book Club is a new series of events developed by two doctoral researchers (Camille London-Miyo and Malcolm Richards), hosted in partnership with Stephen Lawrence Research Centre and Race Ethnicity and Education Network (REEN).
During September 2021, we will be reading the ‘Visible and Invisible Barriers: the impact of racism on BME teachers’ by Dr Zubaida Haque and Sian Elliott (2017), published by the Runnymede Trust and National Education Union. This report is available here.
