Sisters Corner Discussion: We feel you are aggressive!

Saturday 30 October 2021

Join Sisters Corner online discussion about one the most weaponised sentence against women of colour in the work place.

Each month Sisters Corner leads a discussion on what and how black women are deal with challenges we face in the UK.

This month we will be talking about being labeled The Aggressive women which came from the infamous stereotype: The Angry Black Woman narrative.

Center for Women Policy Studies found 21% of women of colour surveyed did not feel they were free to be “themselves at work.” The same study found more than one third of women of colour — ranging from 28 percent to 44 percent — believed that they must “play down” their race or ethnicity to succeed.

Join our panel online to share your experiences and find out how women from different age groups have handled the passive aggressive experience at work, school and everyday life.

Once registered, you will receive a Zoom invite with details.

We look forward to meeting you and learning from each other!
