No More Ivory Towers…Global Majority Women in Academia

Saturday 20 November 2021

For far too long universities and research institutes have seemingly existed with an agenda of exclusion.

The representation of female academics in positions of esteem remains disappointing and for Global Majority women in academia climbing the professor ladder is an even more extreme challenge. In this National Black Writers Conference panel questions of access, resilience and comradeship will be discussed as we work towards the horizon of No More Ivory Towers.

Further panellist to be announced!
