Hair and Heritage Lecture with Korantema

Korantema will be running a lecture for us in the Dollhouse all about Hair and Heritage.

 

Korantema is from London and loves telling the stories of Black folks. You’ll usually find her making things about hair, heritage and history. Korantema curated an exhibition about Black hair which is currently featured at The Migration Museum.

She also created The Salon zine – a collection of personal stories, photography, illustrations and poetry exploring hair, identity, race and motherhood. In the daytime, Korantema works at a social justice charity called Arts Emergency.

Korantema will be running a lecture for us in the Dollhouse all about Hair and Heritage.
