The Harambee Heritage Program explores Black Heritage and culture with children 7+ and their Families.

 

Join us as we explore Black culture, heritage and history through music, stories and art.

Our program is based on the NGUZO SABA (Seven Principals)

UMOJA (Unity)

KUJICHAGULIA (Self- Determination)

UJIMA (Collective Work & Responsibility)

UJAMAA ( Cooperative Economics

KUUMBA ( Creativity)

NIA (Purpose)

IMANI (Faith)

Each of our session highlight a different principal and we discuss how the NGUZO SABA shows up in our every lives and how we can demonstrate these principals with our family, friends and community.
