The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is excited to host Lisa S. McNair in commemoration of Black History Month. Birmingham native Lisa McNair is the oldest living sister of Denise McNair, one of the four girls killed in the infamous 1963 bombing of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. She is a national public speaker under her own business, Speak Lisa where she shares the story of Denise’s life, her heinous murder, how it affected her family and the city of Birmingham. This event will take place on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 6-7pm on Zoom.
