Brilliant and Black: A Celebration Event for Black History Month

This year we are honoured to welcome Professor Dawn Edge who is a Professor of Mental Health & Inclusivity in the Division of Psychology & Mental Health in the School of Health Sciences. Dawn is also The University of Manchester’s Academic Lead for Equality Diversity & Inclusion (Race Religion & Belief).

 

Dawn will deliver this year’s keynote presentation – a perspective on race inequality and the current Black Lives Matter (BLM) issues.

Following the keynote address, Dawn will be joined by various artists on the day.

The event would normally be held on campus but due to the continual uncertainty given the current COVID-19 pandemic, it will be delivered virtually via the following applications:
