This virtual event, hosted by the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT) and Black Women Rising (BWR), will occur on Wednesday, September 18th, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
During the webinar, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with others who understand your journey, share experiences, and gain valuable insights. ACLT will lead the session, with Charlotte from BWR supporting the discussions.

- Introduction to ACLT and Black Women Rising
- Overview of ACLT’s “Share Your Story” initiative, highlighting personal stories of those diagnosed with blood cancers and those in need of stem cell transplants or blood donations

- Learn about the ACLT Support Group: “I AM Not Defined by Blood Cancer” and how you can join
- Registering Donors and Saving Lives
- Navigating diagnosis, hospital care, and prognosis
- Hear from Haematology Clinicians with expert insight into the topics discussed
