Can You Poet: Black History Month

Sun, 27 October 2019 19:00 – 22:00

Can You Poet is all about spreading messages and building communities through the spoken words.

Whilst I agree that Black history is everyone’s history and we should be talking about it 7 days a week, 365 days a year, October is the national commeration of Black History Month in the UK.

We will be celebrating all related to the African diaspora, including history, culture, identity, traditions and more.

There’ll be poetry, spoken word, storytelling and a guest speaker TBC

Doors, 7pm for a 7:30 start.
