Prepare to be mesmerised as the Leicester Symphony Orchestra presents a stunning performance featuring the celebrated young violinist Braimah Kanneh-Mason. This concert brings together three iconic pieces that have captured the hearts of classical music lovers for generations.

 

Starting with Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, a masterpiece of romantic violin playing, Braimah Kanneh-Mason will bring his virtuosity and emotion to this celebrated piece. Known for its soaring melodies and technical brilliance, Mendelssohn’s concerto remains a favourite in the violin repertoire.

Next, the orchestra will perform Mozart’s Overture to The Marriage of Figaro a lively and spirited piece that sets the tone for one of opera’s most beloved works. Known for his expressive performances and exceptional technique, Braimah is a member of the renowned Kanneh-Mason family, who are celebrated for their musical talents.
