An event to celebrate a new publication, Black Women in Dance: Stepping out of the Barriers, which reflects their challenges but also celebrates their tenacity, strength and creativity.
The occasion features a special ‘Treasures in the Archive’ talk from Victoria Northridge, from the Black Cultural Archives, examining the career of acclaimed dancer and choreographer Sheron Wray who began her career in Leicester. Time: 7.30pm
