Oxlade

Thursday 15th June

Hear exactly why Oxlade is capturing hearts and minds – lush but lively Afrobeats, and soft melodies sung in a yearning falsetto.

Oxlade, also known as Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, is one of the emerging acts that has changed the face of the Nigerian and African music industry.

Singing falsetto, and experimenting with different genres, he mixes melody and sounds to make music everyone can appreciate.

For a sign of that popularity, his recent COLORS show, where he sang his track ‘Ku Lo Sa’, was a runaway viral success. His performance at Meltdown is a chance to catch a star in the making.
