In conversation with children’s author Patrice August Brown

Patrice Augustus Brown children’s author of Sky Up, is an educator, a mother and a Special Needs Assistant Coordinator. She is passionate about supporting and empowering young people and her book Sky Up does just that.

It tells the story of Joziah who is set a homework task where he finds himself overwhelmed and unsure of where to start. What he does know is that he wants to be ‘something different, something great, something outstanding! ‘Who would have thought that a day at his dad’s barbershop would lead him to the answer he needs?

This session will inspire and empower children to think positively about what they would like to be and achieve when they are older and is possible!

Years 3 and above
