This is what a superstar sounds like: Brazil’s leading young artist is a chart-topping, record-breaking, social media-ruling force of nature.
The artist, who writes all her own songs, has released three hit albums with Warner Music, achieved unprecedented national airplay and digital streaming, and won many of her country’s most important music awards – all by the age of 24.
Anitta also boasts the largest social media following of any woman in Brazil, with 36 million Instagram followers and more than 11 million YouTube subscribers.
On her first trilingual album, Kisses, released this April, hip-hop performers including Snoop Dogg and Swae Lee, Brazilian artists such as Caetano Veloso and Ludmilla, and Latin music stars Becky G, Prince Royce, DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz, join her for tracks in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
In 2016, she sang with Brazilian singers Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games opening ceremony, and with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli at his concerts in Brazil.
Anitta has won Best Brazilian Artist (twice) and Best Latin Artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards, and collaborated with Major Lazer, J Balvin, Alesso, Poo Bear and Maluma.
DJ MistaJam opens the show with a disco x boogie set to get you dancing in the aisles.
