BQMP is a Networking event combining acting, physical movement, discussion and play for Black Queer Men!

Founded by Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu, Black Queer Men’ Playground is a space for Black Queer Artists & Non-Artists to play together, explore new stories, move, R&D some new upcoming work and just genuinely chat about what it is to be Black, Queer and an Actor in Britain today.

As a Black Queer man myself working within theatre, I feel it is hard to find others like me to connect to. When I do, it is few and far between. After speaking with the few black queer performers and creative within theatre, I have realised my experience is common.
