Afro-Future Festival – “Regenerate” – Looking back to move forward
This emotional, educative and informative event tells the “black story” going back into history and bringing into the present the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, expressed in an engaging way using performing creativity that is also woven into the African heritage; African dance, theatre and music to communicate and educate participants and audiences about these sensitive subjects. It imagines the community in the future with young people taking the mantle as leaders of change.
