BBC Music Introducing in London returns to present a night of emerging music talent.
West London MC, Big Zuu continues to rise in the UK urban music scene, putting the grit back into grime as he puts the message out there with lyrical gravity and flow. The former youth worker earned his stripes MCing on radio stations and since 2017 has released 2 EPs, has had the love from GRM Daily and the MOBOs, has smashed it on stage and has joined peers on The British Music Embassy’s SXSW 2018 line-up in Austin, Texas.
25-year old Kemi, known as Priincess Kemz, grew up in east London and has been writing music since she was 16. After going through a personal trauma, she decided to write poems which she then turned into raps. Her style stems from a love of old school rap and hip hop, with a touch of sultry R&B and a contemporary urban flair. She’s recently released her first album, Buzz.
Watch this space as we confirm the 3rd artist on the line-up.
