Bel Cobain

Thursday 16 September 2021

Rhythm Section Live returns to The Jazz Cafe with another three act bill of supreme talent.

Bel Cobain is the London-based singer-songwriter merging jazz, r&b and rap with a peaceful and self-reflective slant. Her latest single with Lex Amor has led to widespread acclaim and with a full debut project on the way this year, she has been tipped as one to watch by numerous leading press outlets.

KeepVibesNear is an Alternative R&B artist from London. With the looks of a 90s R&B superstar and a delivery that owes more to King Krule than to D’Angelo, KVN doesn’t fit into the usual boxes.

Natty Wylah grew up in North London. His mother, an abstract painter, was into, punk, jazz – Thelonius Monk and the like – while his dad was a lover of dub, reggae and rocksteady. Though his music stems from hip-hop, band members from Sunken and live instrumentation inject it with richness, adding flavours of post-punk, jazz, and ambient.
