In his recently published book, ‘The Culture Trap’ (Oxford University Press, 2023), Wallace skilfully challenges the conventional wisdom that attributes the academic performance and behaviour of Black students solely to culture.

He uncovers the intricate web of factors influencing their experiences, going beyond the surface.
