Celebrate Black History Month at Komedia Comedy Club!

Discover the best in live comedy, featuring three top acts and an MC, at Brighton’s Komedia Comedy Club every weekend.

 

In honour of this year’s Black History Month theme, Reclaiming Narratives, a line-up of excellent BIPOC comedians will take the stage to take ownership of their stories and shape how they are told.

Your host this weekend is the clever Archie Maddocks (English Comedian of the Year finalist and writer of A Place for We and The Estate), with performances by larger-than-life Emmanuel Sonubi (Live at the Apollo, The Stand-Up Sketch Show), comedian and NHS doctor Matt Hutchinson (So You Think You’re Funny? finalist, Laughing Horse Comedy Club co-founder), and the idiosyncratic Mary O’Connell (BBC New Comedy Awards finalist, BBC Presents: Stand Up For Live Comedy).
