Jazzlines Gospel Ensemble (Free workshop: 11-19 year olds)

Sunday 25th September

Are you aged between 11 and 19 years old?

Are you from Birmingham or the surrounding areas?

Do you want the opportunity to learn classic and contemporary gospel repertoire?

The Jazzlines Gospel Ensemble and Choir is an exciting project led by drummer, band leader and educator Ray Prince and vocalist Claudia Prince. Ray and Claudia run the epic Gospel Revisited Project and are amongst the cities most revered Gospel artists.

The sessions take place fortnightly in Symphony Hall, a B:Music venue on Saturdays between 1pm – 3pm and are FREE to attend. We are always taking on new members with all instrumentalists and vocalists welcome. There is no previous experience required and it’s the perfect opportunity to socialise, improve your ensemble skills, learn to sing in harmony and create music with fellow young musicians. We provide access to drum kits, pianos, keyboards and amplification for guitar and bass.

The Ensemble recently performed in the Jennifer Blackwell Foyer at Symphony Hall to a sold-out audience and are looking forward to future performances. If you’ve always wanted to be a part of large ensemble, now is the perfect time to get involved!
