Immerse yourself in our patchwork and quilting workshop led by exhibition artist Jahnavi Inniss, award-winning textile-based graphic designer and craft educator.

Through the culturally rich medium of quilting, Inniss celebrates and documents Black history through a critical lens, challenging distorted historical narratives and highlighting the importance of documenting history and creative expression as tools for empowerment and self-expression.

This is a unique opportunity to get hands-on understanding of the artist’s practice whilst exploring and responding to themes in our Rise Up exhibition. The workshop can accommodate all skill levels.
