Join us for this online session aimed at educating and raising awareness about the cultural significance, diversity and historical importance of Black hair and hair discrimination.

 

This FREE online session will also cover the role hair plays in shaping one’s identity, self-expression, and beauty standards within the Black community and society as a whole as well as examining the history of hair discrimination and the impact of beauty bias on hair styling for a Black person, how hair is not just for aesthetics, but also how hair has been used as a means of resistance.
