Harrow Road Soup Kitchen is partnering with The Avenues to celebrate The Windrush Generation.
Come join us on 25th June, 12 pm – 5 pm at The Avenues Youth Project.
Marking 75 years since HMT Empire Windrush arrived in the UK, this event commemorates this historic anniversary and celebrates the contribution of The Windrush Generation in the building of modern Britain, and their continued place at the heart of our community.
The day will be filled with food, music, Windrush-themed speeches, performances, documentary films and fun. A market space will be dedicated to local black businesses and Caribbean food from event partners Harrow Road Soup Kitchen will be available (free to under 18s).
Tickets are free to all.
