30 Years Of The Low End Theory

Sunday 18th December

Join us for a huge show at The Jazz Cafe celebrating three decades of genius from A Tribe Called Quest and Q Tip.

We’re celebrating 30 years of the iconic Tribe album, ‘The Low End Theory’ with Patterns, the London band featuring the city’s finest jazz players led by Dani Deodato (Arlo Parks / Pyjaen).

In addition to this, the band will be diving deep into the 2001-recorded Q Tip solo album, Kamaal The Abstract, for their opening set of the night. A record heavily indebted to the jazz influence in hip-hop and Q Tip’s personal record collection.

  • Dani Diodato – guitar
  • Nicola Guida – keys
  • Jerome Johnson – drums
  • Johnatan Moko – bass
  • Jay Phelps – trumpet
  • Callum Connell – saxophone
  • Mandeep – vocals
  • Simon JNR – vocals
