Derek Owusu discusses his latest novel Losing the Plot with Jason Okundaye

 

Derek Owusu’s first novel That Reminds Me, a haunting, edgy Bildungsroman about growing up in and out of care and in and out of the city won the Desmond Elliott prize in 2020. He will be at the shop to talk about and read from his second novel Losing the Plot (Canongate) which continues his exploration of the realities of Black lives in Britain.

He will be in conversation with Jason Okundaye whose study of Black gay Britain Revolutionary Acts will be published by Faber in 2024.
