One of the UK’s most exciting recording artists performs live with the London Contemporary Orchestra in a one-off collaboration.
cktrl’s 2020 EP, robyn, attracted plaudits from outlets including Vogue, Dazed and ID, and was followed in late 2021 by zero.
His output is influenced by a blend of his West Indian heritage, years of classical training, his south London manner and a global network of creatives and friends.
With a catalogue straddling everything from freestyle contemporary classic duets to electronic R&B to dark, moody instrumentals, his approach to creation is all-encompassing.
Having worked with the likes of Virgil Abloh, Bianca Saunders, Tremaine Emory, Nicholas Daley, Mercedes Benz and Jenn Nkiru, and most recently featuring in Beyonce’s Black Is King, he appears here working with orchestral musicians for the first time.
