Drum… Language… Reborn again! Learn the African Origins of the Nyahbinghi Drum

The mystic world of Rastafari leads to the clear sound and vibration of Ras Fehtari, the Head Creator (ራስፈጣሪ). Come and learn about the African origins of the Nyahbingi Drum and its use in contemporary reasoning within the Rasta community. Join Schools of Unified Learning (SOUL) for an interactive workshop that empowers even the youngest drummer to master the mystery of the Nyahbinghi drum.

This family workshop led by Ras Astehmari Batekun will encourage you to find your natural rhythm and connection with the drum. Learn the principles of Unified knowledge Language (የጥምርዕዉቀትቋንቋ) to communicate clearly by drum play (musically), by hand-sign, in writing (African script of Ethiopia), by voice, and with advancing practice commune in the highest realms driving away all fears internally.
