In Conversation: Damon Galgut & Ian Williams

Tuesday 14 December 2021

This December 14 join #OurBrilliantFriends for an international literary event hosted in partnership with Seminary Co-op Bookstores.

In their most recent books, as well as throughout their multifaceted oeuvre, Damon Galgut and Ian Williams offer creatively rich and deeply engaging narratives that explore questions of integrity and renewal; the impact of the past and the continuing injustices of the present; the intimate relationships within a family and the historical relationships within a nation. Compassionate and searing storytellers, each with their own indelible style, the stories Galgut and Williams tell are ambitious, dazzling, laced with humor, and utterly compelling. Taking place in varied geographies and times, their books have much to say to each other and to readers everywhere.

The conversation will be moderated by acclaimed essayist Garnette Cadogan, and will include a live audience Q&A. Click here to submit your questions in advance.
