Celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. with Benjamin Crump

Earlham College, Indiana University East, and the NAACP Richmond Indiana Chapter #3066 will host renowned civil rights attorney Ben Crump.

 

To celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Earlham College, Indiana University East, and the Richmond NAACP will host renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Benjamin Crump. Crump has worked on some of the most high-profile cases in the US, representing the families of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and Stephon Clark, among others. He will sit down with Womai Song, an Assistant Professor of African and African-American Studies and Assistant Professor of History at Earlham, to reflect on King’s legacy in the context of the challenges we continue to face today.
