Taking on Allyship

In this session, we will look at what it means to be inclusive and an ally and explore how participants can make a difference to equity in the workplace. The format will be slides-based but with interactive breakout groups and a case study exercise.

 

Participants will :

• Learn how bias and social privileges manifests in society and the impact of this

• Explore understanding of overt and covert culture and the dynamics of diversity and inclusion in the work environment

• What barriers to ED&I might privilege present and how to use privilege to take on allyship

• Understand their privileges and how they can be used in cultivating great allyship

• Understand their personal inclusion impact
