October is Black History Month and is widely regarded as one of the most prominent cultural celebrations of the year.
This month we celebrate the contributions and achievements of Black women in health and recognize their challenges. It is a time to educate and enrich our women and girls with the importance of Black history, the incredible work and role played by Black women in the society.
We will be listening to the stories and journeys of a panel of seven Black women GPs, nurses and scientists who can serve as role models to inspire other women and girls in our communities.
