The Black History Month Community Awards 2016

National Black History Month www.blackhistorymonth.org.uk is proud to announce The Black History Month Community Awards 2016 ahead of our 2016 magazine release.

Celebrating those who have changed the community around us, the Black History Month Community Awards will recognise those individuals, organisations and companies who have encouraged, instilled and have worked diligently to ensure diversity is at the heart of their work.

“The Black History Month Awards are an important step in recognising what these individuals do for an underrepresented community. I for one are proud to be a part in recognising these individual efforts because all of these winners will prove to become role models for the next generation of equality minded citizens and the blueprints of people who want to make a positive difference in our society.” says, Black History  Month magazine editor, Omar Alleyne-Lawler
