Loyiso is a high profile South African stand up comedian, with a 30 minute Netflix special and appearances on Britain’s most prestigious comedy shows like Live At The Apollo , Mock The Week , QI just to mention a few .
He hosted 12 seasons of his two-time International Emmy nominated satirical news show ‘Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola’, and was the African correspondent for Charlie Pickering’s The Weekly on the ABC in Australia. CNN have just featured Loyiso on their profile series, African Voices. In 2016 he recorded his debut US stand up special “Loyiso Gola Live in New York”, which was recorded in Brooklyn, and released by Vimeo Originals in November 2016 and launched at the prestigious New York Comedy Festival. His show “Unlearning” ( which he is currently touring) received rave reviews at the Sydney and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
The talent of Gola is no stranger to the Comedy Festival circuit.
