The workshop will provide a good overview of each period with lots of further reading to begin your own Black History journey. Participants can choose to attend any of the sessions as a standalone workshop on that period or can book onto all four.

This session looks at The Windrush Generation and UK Civil Rights.

The other sessions are:

6th October – Ancient African Civilisations and Empires.

13th October – Trade, Enslavement, and Resistance.

20th October – Black British History to 1945.
