Exploring contemporary British Black music: A focus on Grime

This event will provide an opportunity to understand and gain insights into British Black Music. Attendees will enjoy genres such as Grime.

 

This event, organised by UCLan’s staff Race Equality Network (REN), will provide an opportunity to understand and gain insights into British Black Music. Attendees will enjoy genres such as Grime. Attendees can also choose to select their preferred music but links will need to be sent to the event organiser in advance. The event will include a discussion on the socio-political themes that Grime artists aim to convey through their music.
