Ariwo Live

Saturday 11 September 2021

Contours is a live series of collaborative music and dance performances by Ariwo, a London-based electronic Afro-Cuban quartet led by Pouya Ehsaei (zabte Sote/Opal Tapes) and grammy-winning percussionist Hammadi Valdes.

Rooted in electronics and Afro-Cuban rhythms, carnival melodies and cosmic jazz, the band has also previously incorporated like-minded musicians from London’s thriving jazz scene including Binker Golding, Jay Phelps, Yelfris Valdés and our very own Oreste Noda of Sambroso All Stars.
