“THE GOLDEN GIRL OF JAZZ” CAMILLA GEORGE

Wednesday 2nd June 2021

We’re excited to welcome Camilla George to The Jazz Cafe. The MOBO-nominated, Nigerian-born saxophonist has become a firm fixture on the London jazz scene.

With a love of fusing African and Western sounds, her music is a delightful blend of Afrofuturism, hip hop and jazz. A star of the renowned Jazz Jamaica, she’s since gone on to produce two albums of critical acclaim in Isang and The People Could Fly.

Camilla’s music is warm yet authoritative, relaxed yet imaginative. This fully-seated setting is the perfect place for an intimate experience with “The Golden Girl of Jazz” (Evening Standard).

Mr & Mrs Wedderburn, founders of GW Jazz and mainstays of the London jazz scene, DJ from 6pm.

Enjoy table service and drinks on the ground floor or a little bit of luxury and a view overlooking the stage from our mezzanine restaurant. Tickets for this show are bought in groups of 2, 3, 4 or 6 depending on the table you select.
