Festival of Minds and Bodies: Alaska

30 Nov Sat, 16:00 - 17:10 - 1 Dec Sun, 16:00 - 17:10

Take a seat at the table with Cheryl Martin for this intimate conversation about how she survived depression, asylums – even being black at Cambridge in the 1980s – and found a way to thrive. This performance follows Chery’s emotional journey and features fantastical images, singing and dancing.

This show mentions suicide and self-harm.

Location: We’ll be in the Studio on level 1. When you enter Wellcome Collection, head up the stairs or take the lift, then follow the signs.

First come, first served: Booking a ticket for a free event does not guarantee a place on the day. If you have any access requests or requirements, email us at access@wellcomecollection.org or call 020 7611 2222.

British Sign Language: This event will have British Sign Language interpretation. If you would like to come along, email us at access@wellcomecollection.org or call 020 7611 2222.

Speech-to-text: This event will have live speech-to-text transcription for visitors who are deaf, deafened and hard of hearing. If you would like to come along, email us at access@wellcomecollection.org or call 020 7611 2222.
