The Help – Free Film Night in The Bistro

Tue, 10 September 2019 18:30 – 21:30

Come along and watch the inspiring film, The Help at The Bistro, Blackburne House.

An aspiring author during the civil rights movement of the 1960s decides to write a book detailing the African American maids’ point of view on the white families for which they work, and the hardships they go through on a daily basis.

Tickets are free, but you can donate any amount you wish – and by doing this, you are directly helping educate women at Blackburne House. We are a charity who’s primary aim is to educate and train women (some disadvantaged) to change their lives.

We do ask that you buy one soft or alcoholic beverage – and a delicious supper menu will be available to purchase.
